The short version: everything on this site is an estimate for learning and planning. It is not tax, legal or financial advice, and you should not file your tax return based only on these results.
Not professional advice
KeepMath is not a tax firm, accounting firm, law firm or payroll provider. We are not tax professionals. No content or calculator on this site creates an advisor-client relationship. For advice about your own situation, talk to a qualified tax professional.
Estimates only
Your real tax depends on your full tax return, including income from other sources, credits, other deductions and your specific facts. The calculators use simplified assumptions, which each page describes. Your actual tax, your employer's withholding and your refund or balance due can differ from the results shown here.
What the calculators do not cover
- State and local income taxes, unless a page says otherwise
- Tax credits, such as the child tax credit
- The alternative minimum tax and other special taxes
- Head of household and married filing separately income tax brackets, where a page lists only single and married filing jointly
- The exact withholding tables your employer's payroll system uses
Accuracy and changes
We work to use the correct figures for the tax year shown on each page, but tax laws, limits and IRS guidance change, and mistakes can happen. We do not promise that the information is complete, current or error-free. If you find a mistake, please tell us on the contact page.
Use at your own risk
You are responsible for how you use the information on this site. To the fullest extent allowed by law, KeepMath is not liable for any loss or penalty that results from relying on it.
